What should we do about music?

Wednesday, March 25, 2009

crit from class

art history:
broll for daria..
add tina to humanities?
... should we include the part where helen talks about locations to the cultural shots?
guy walking buy helen

conservation:
volume of bg music was too loud..
accents are really thick..
use more broll on top of painting conservation..

crafts:
generally, keep pan shots separated.. slow down pans
possibly use more still shots?
drop down bg music

design:
make sure audio levels are the same for both interviews throughout
audio level when camilla laughs.. fix that
'in your culture..." ..... take out? (what if someone in italy sees it?)

side notes:
make sure we get rid of too many 'ums'
cut down still shots to around 3 seconds at most
cut down interviews so that we can fit to our constraints.

The goal of the video is to show what is special about SACI. In particular, we are interested in how SACI students have a better understanding of Tuscan culture, get out of the classroom (field trips, etc), and give back to Florence through volunteer work, etc. Also, if you have a special course that is not available in the US, or is very different in the US, that is good too!
